Who is Stuart Binny's wife Mayanti Langer?

Mayanti Langer is a prominent sports journalist and a well-recognized figure in the cricket world. She anchors major cricket tournaments worldwide and has also hosted various other sporting events, including football and the Commonwealth Games. Born on February 8, 1985, in Delhi, India, to parents Sanjiv Langer and Mrs. Preminda Langer, she is the granddaughter of Lt. General Rajinder Nath Batra and Mrs. Priyo Batra. Much of her childhood was spent in the United States, where she was raised in a disciplined environment due to her grandfather's military background and her mother's career as a respected schoolteacher.

Mayanti's father, Sanjiv Langer, had a career with the United Nations (UN). She attended Hindu College at the University of Delhi, earning her B.A (Hons) degree. Since her early years, Mayanti had a passion for playing football, participating at the school level and receiving training at Delhi's Super Soccer Academy.

Mayanti Langer career

Initially, Mayanti aspired to become a graphic designer, but her career took a different turn after she tried her hand at sports anchoring during the 'FIFA Beach Football.' Subsequently, she decided to pursue a career as an anchor. Mayanti Langer has hosted several major events, including the 2011 and 2015 Cricket World Cups, the 2014 Indian Super League, the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and the 2010 Commonwealth Games. She also anchored the 2018 IPL season. Mayanti Langer's interest in football grew during her time in the U.S., and she is now regarded as one of India's leading and prominent female sports journalists.

Stuart Binny, the renowned cricketer, and Mayanti Langer, a sports anchor, first crossed paths on a cricket field. At the time, she was in the early stages of her career and was preparing for an interview. Her producer asked her to interview Stuart Binny. Following the interview, Mayanti and Stuart Binny became good friends.

Their friendship eventually blossomed into love, and after several years together, Stuart Binny and Mayanti decided to spend their lives together. They tied the knot on September 27, 2012, and to this day, they remain one of the prominent power couples in the Indian sports community.
