The young player, only 26 years of age, achieved outstanding performance with 18 ODI wickets at a 14.88 average and an economy of 4.62, as well as 22 T20I wickets at a 23.95 average and an economy of 6.50 in just 29 white-ball matches. Renuka made her mark in the cricket world with a whirlwind debut year for India, especially in the T20I series against Australia where she became a formidable opponent for the Australian team.
