Sohail Tanvir: Pakistani fast bowler, Sohail Tanvir, renowned for his unique bowling action, has declared his retirement from international cricket. Although he will no longer play for the national team, he intends to continue competing in domestic cricket and global franchise leagues. Sohail Tanvir, who featured in 2 Tests, 62 ODIs, and 57 T20Is for Pakistan, expressed gratitude to the Pakistan Cricket Board on Twitter for their backing and the opportunities he received during his career. His career's highlights include a six wicket haul which he took in IPL 2008.
Sohail announces Retirement
He made his debut for Pakistan in 2007 and quickly established himself as one of the most menacing in the game. He took a total of 71 wickets in ODI cricket and 54 wickets in T20Is. Sohail Tanvir was a member of the victorious Pakistan squad at the 2009 T20 World Cup, cementing his place in cricket history. In his most recent tournament, he played for the Gladiators in the PSL, where he took a total of 55 wickets across 61 matches.
Taking to Twitter, Sohail Tanvir wrote, "I am retiring from all formats of international cricket and will continue to play domestic and franchise cricket going forward. Thank you to @TheRealPCB for giving me the opportunity to play for my country."

In the first season of IPL, the Rajasthan Royals, headed by Shane Warne, won the trophy and Sohail had a huge role in that. In a game he also notched up a six-wicket haul against CSK. However Pakistani athletes were prohibited from the competition after that edition.
