PAK Vs BAN has been a cluster of moments in just the first session. The first hour of the match was dominated by Bangladesh entirely and we saw so many memorable and controversial moments already.

While Babar Azam continued his horrid run in test with a duck, he was saved by the controversial dismissal of Shan Masood. The Pakistani skipper was dismissed early in the first session and was left fuming.

The decision by the umpire Michael Dough has left everyone confused and angry. Shan himself left the ground fuming after seeing it on the big screen. On the other hand, fans have started lambasting the umpires calling out the dodgy decisions in umpiring lately.

The incident happened in the 7th over, when Shoriful Islam got an inside edge of Masood to dismiss him. It was a good length delivery with a steep bounce and got the inside edge of Masood.

The on-field umpire stated it was not out but Bangladeshi players quickly took a review. The review was successful as there was a clear deflection but it was still not clear whether the ball hit the pad or the bat.

In the end, Masood was given out and he could not believe it. Even in the dugout he looked at the replay and was animated about the decision. He even got in a heated discussion with on-field umpires but it was to no avail.

Fans Furious

This decision has also attracted worldwide criticism from the fans who have been angry for quite some time due to a fall in the standards of umpiring. Fans believe that there was no clear edge and Masood should have been out.

They called out Michael Dough and termed this decision as 'pathetic.' It is a wild west out on social media and it has made this match much more intense than it was supposed to be.
