Royal Challenger Bangalore purchased Kyle Jamieson for 15 crore and he is now also the second most expensive player in this year's IPL.

Kyle Jamieson has played 4 T20s, 2 ODIs and 6 Test matches for New Zealand. He doesn't have much international experience but Mike Hessan and RCB management have showed faith in the Kiwi player and purchased him for 15 Crore.

Jhye Richardson goes to Punjab Kings for 14 Crore

Apart from Kyle Jamieson, Australian fast bowler Jhye Richardson also got 14 Crore from Punjab Kings. Jhye too didn't have much international experience but his Big Bash perforamance got him the place in the Punjab's line up at 14 Crore.

Teams have banked on young players rather than going towards the senior players. Harbhajan Singh got unsold, Harbhajan's base price was 2 crore.
