IPL 2021: Shah Rukh Khan excited to join Punjab Kings campaign

Shah Rukh Khan's name was most discussed after the auction process for the 14th season of the Indian Premier League. Tamil Nadu's young cricketer Shah Rukh Khan has been bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 5.25 crore. Shahrukh Khan expressed his desire to meet play IPL and meet Chris Gayle in the Punjab Kings camp.

"I was traveling on the bus when the auction was on. I finished the practice session and was heading to the hotel with my team. All my team-mates went crazy and started hooting when I was bought by Punjab. My team-mates and my captain DK (Dinesh Karthik) came to me and congratulated me. It was an unbelievable feeling."

The Tamil Nadu all-rounder has played a crucial role in his team's victory in the Syed Mustaq Ali tournament. He has contributed with both bat and ball in the entire domestic season. Shahruk Khan may play at Number 6 for Punjab Kings in the upcoming season.
