IPL 2021: Gurkeerat Mann replaces Rinku Singh in KKR squad

Gurkeerat Singh Mann kas now replaced Rinku Singh in Kolkata Knight Riders squad in the 14th edition of Indian Premier League.

Rinku suffered knee injury and has been ruled out of entire season of this year's IPL.

"Kolkata Knight Riders have signed up Gurkeerat Singh Mann as replacement for batsman Rinku Singh, who will be unavailable for the entire season due to a knee injury," said the IPL in a statement.

Gurkeerat was the part of Royal Challengers Bangalore last season and the batsman has also represented India in the limited-overs format. He can be a solid middle-order batsman for Kolkata Knight Riders.

The 14th season of the Indian Premier League is all set to start from April 9 and two-time champion KKR will face Sunrisers Hyderabad in their first match.
