IPL 2020: Graeme Swann questions Maxwell's position in Punjab side

Former England off-spinner Graeme Swann is extremely surprised that Kings XI Punjab batsman Glenn Maxwell is continuously getting a chance in the team despite his consistent failure in IPL-13.

Maxwell's highest score in the season is 13. Swann said on Star Sports, "I am surprised that Maxwell is keeping his place in the team."

Graeme Swann said, 'Maxwell got a lot of money and at the moment he is not able to give returns. He is a top-quality player and he scored a lot of runs for Australia in England. Just now they have to take more responsibility for the team.

In six matches of IPL-13, Maxwell's bat has been silent so far. He has scored 1, 5, 13, 11, unbeaten 11, 7 and 10 not out in six innings so far.

On Sunday, in the match played against Kolkata Knight Riders, Maxwell failed to win Punjab, and the team lost by two runs.
