IPL 2020: 'Do or Die' match for Rajasthan and Kolkata

Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will face each other in the 54th match of the 13th season of IPL. As the play-off race gets stuck in do or die for the Rajasthan team who will be aiming to beat Kolkata by keeping their hopes intact while maintaining the winning momentum. This match will be played in Dubai from 7.30 pm.

Winning the last league match, the 2008 champions Royals will have to pray for other results to be in their favor. For this, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will have to lose the game against the Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad (KXIP) to Mumbai Indians.

In such a situation, on the basis of the net run rate, the Rajasthan Royals team can make a place in the play-off. Before that, however, they will have to defeat KKR. The greater the margin of victory, the greater the advantage of Steve Smith's team.

On the other hand, the path of the playoff is the most difficult for KKR. Their net run rate is worse than all the other teams. If they defeat Rajasthan and the other 12 points team involved in the competition does not reach 14 points, then only he will qualify. But it looks impossible.
