IPL 2020: Deepak Chahar to resume practice after testing negative for COVID-19

Chennai Super Kings fast bowler Deepak Chahar, will start practice for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) from Friday after getting the necessary clearance from the BCCI.

Earlier, Deepak Chahar was tested positive for COVID-19 along with the 12 members of his franchise.

Chahar was allowed to enter the team bio-bubble (bio-safe environment) on Wednesday after two negative reports of the COVID-19.

CSK CEO Kashi Vishwanath told PTI, "He will start practice from today (Friday)." He has got the necessary approval from the BCCI. The team is practicing hard and is in good condition. We are waiting for our first match."
