 India vs Zimbabwe, T20 World Cup: India win toss, opt to bat; Rohit brings Rishabh Pant in lineup

India have won the toss and elected to bat first vs Zimbabwe in their last Super 12 game of the ongoing T20 World Cup. India captain Rohit Sharma has brought Rishabh Pant in the lineup place of injured Dinesh Karthik.

India come into the game after registering a win over Bangladesh while Chevrons lost their game vs the same team.

Earlier in the day with Netherlands shocking South Africa, India qualified for the semifinals of the ongoing tournament. While on the other hand, Pakistan have also qualified for the final four.

Pakistan needed a favour from Netherlands and unexpectedly the Dutch beat Professional by 13 runs.

The Dutch have left the entire world in shock as before the game it was believed that Proteas will easily book their spot in the Semifinals but they looked over confident.

While a win for Zimbabwe today will help them finish in the top-4 of the group, thereby confirming an automatic berth in the next tournament in 2024.
