 India vs Hong Kong, Asia Cup 2022: Suryakumar's assault help India beat spirited Hong Kong by 40 runs

India beat Hong Kong by 40 runs in their second match of the ongoing Asia Cup 2022 on Wednesday. With this win, India had qualified for the Super 4 of the tournament and they will meet the team at the second spot in Group B in final four round. After putting up a massive score of 192/2 in the first innings, Indian bowlers too had a good day on the field as they didn't let Hong Kong batters to stay at 152/5.

It was a day to remember for India's Suryakumar Yadav after his 26-ball 68-run knock. Virat Kohli also scored a half-cetury and equalled Rohit's record of most fifties in T20Is.

Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli scored a whopping 98 runs off just 42 balls.

While, Rohit had another off day as the India captain was dismissed for 21 off 13 balls having hit two fours and a six. Rahul got a start but got out caught behind for 36 off 39 balls as Hong Kong bowlers kept India in check and did not let India's top order score freely.
