IND vs SL: Men in Blue to begin home season with victory? See head-to-head record for both here

IND vs SL: New year has begun and team India's home season is just round the corner. From tomorrow, India will play against Sri Lanka for a T20I and ODI series. The three-match T20I series is scheduled to begin from tomorrow i.e. 3rd of January. In 25 T20 international games between the neighbours, India and Sri Lanka, the Men in Blue enjoy a 17-win advantage over the Lankan Lions. With one match going to a draw, Sri Lanka has defeated India seven times.

Best performers in the IND vs SL T20I series?

When it comes to scoring runs during games between the two teams, Indian hitters are all at the top. Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma, who have scored 375, 339, and 339 runs respectively, are in first place. India's Yuzvendra Chahal, a legspinner, leads the world in wickets taken with 17, followed by Dushmantha Chameera (16), and R Ashwin (8). (13). With senior players such as Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Rohit Sharma on rest, young guns led by Hardik Pandya will take on Sri Lanka.

This year also when India toured Sri Lanka in February this year, the visitors i.e. Men in Blue clean sweeped the series by 3-0. However, in their last encounter in the Asia Cup 2022, Sri Lanka emerged victorious.
