IND vs NZ: Shubman Gill has produced a stunner as he became just the 8th player in international cricket and 5th Indian to smash a double hundred in One Day Internationals. Gill hit 19 fours and nine sixes in he first ODI vs New Zealand to join the elusive club of cricketers including Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Ishan Kishan, Chris Gayle, Martin Guptill and Fakhar Zaman.

From Yuvraj Singh to Wasim Jaffer, cricket fraternity congratulate Gill

Post, Gill's big achievement, former cricketers and fans have been congratulating the 23-year-old.

Gill was playing at the top-order in place of Ishan Kishan who also scored a double ton recently. After team management decided to play Gill in place of Kishan, the 23-year-old faced a lot of backlash along with the Rohit Sharma-Rahul Dravid-led management.

This was Gill's third international ton and he is the youngest batter to reach the mark of 200 in ODIs.
