IND vs BAN: In the second Test against Bangladesh in Mirpur, Team India narrowly avoided defeat because to an outstanding 71-run unbroken partnership by Shreyas Iyer and Ravichandran Ashwin. Ashwin came close to reaching his fifty runs, but he won't worry because he saved India from certain defeat.

India sweeps the series by 2-0

It was clear that neither side would have an easy day as the KL Rahul-led team started Day 4 at 45/4 after losing four wickets earlier on Day 3. Bangladesh had the best Indian players, though. At 74/7, they had India in trouble, but Ashwin and Iyer quickly put their game-changing combination together.

The visitors are aware that they will need to significantly step up their game in their next assignment in the Border Gavaskar Trophy against Australia in 2023 at home. Shakib Al Hasan's team deserves credit for getting India into trouble. The Men in Blue can rejoice now since they secured second place in the World Test Championship points table until then.
