IND vs BAN: Rahul Dravid, Team India's head coach, is closely monitoring the practise session following an embarassng 2-1 loss in the ODI series. As soon as Team India arrived at the stadium in Bangladesh, the BCCI tweeted to let the fans know. In the minutes before the required practise, Dravid was spotted speaking to the players. It was simple to recognise a few athletes in the image, including Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravi Ashwin, and others.

In Chattogram, the site of the first Test, beginning on Wednesday, Rahul Dravid can be seen speaking to the players while they are in a huddle.

Team India starts pracitising for first IND vs BAN test

Ravichandran Ashwin, a spinner, was spotted practising alone on Sunday in an effort to refind his rhythm. India's optional practise session in Chattogram included Ravichandran Ashwin, Cheteshwar Pujara, and KS Bharat. The India A game earlier this week included Bharat and Pujara, but Ashwin is making his first appearance since the T20 World Cup. After participating in the ODI on Saturday, the other athletes had a break.

BCCI announces new squad for IND vs BAN test series

However, BCCI has also announced test squad for the first test. Earlier, and usual, Rohit Sharma was expected to lead the squad but, since the skipper suffered a severe injury in the thumb during the second ODI, he is now ruled out of the test series. Though, the star batter played in the India's inning and also smashed a valiant knock, but doctors have advised him to go through a proper treatment. Also, India can not afford to lose the skipper when the ODI World Cup is just months away.

India's updated squad for Bangladesh Test series:  KL Rahul (c), Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara (vc), Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (wk), KS Bharat (wk), Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Siraj, Umesh Yadav
