IND vs BAN: BCCI announces squad for ODI series, Shahbaz Ahmed to replace this star all-rounder

IND vs BAN: For the upcoming 3-match ODI series versus Bangladesh in December, Kuldeep Sen and Shahbaz Ahmed have been selected by the All-India Senior Selection Committee to replace Yash Dayal and Ravindra Jadeja, respectively.

Dayal, who has a lower back problem, is unable to play in the series, and Jadeja, who is still recovering from a knee ailment, will remain Under the care of the BCCI Medical staff.

For the three-match ODI series against New Zealand, which begins on November 25 in Auckland, BCCI had included Kuldeep and Shahbaz. They will now, however, be a part of the team going to Bangladesh. The ODI team that is currently in New Zealand has not received any substitutes.

Shahbaz and Kuldeep's current form

Taking 11 wickets in six games at an economy rate of 4.87 in 51.2 overs, Shahbaz has been in outstanding form during the current Vijay Hazare Trophy. In the lower order of the batting order, he has also amassed two half-centuries. Kuldeep Sen, who took 5 for 36 against Punjab to give him 18 wickets in six games, is the player with the most in the competition up until the group stage.
