ICC ODI World Cup 2023: Today, September 29, the One Day International (ODI) World Cup warm-up matches are set to commence at three distinct venues: Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram, and Hyderabad. Meanwhile, the Men in Blue have also arrived in Guwahati for their clash against England, scheduled to happen tomorrow.

At Guwahati's Barsapara Stadium, Bangladesh will face off against Sri Lanka. Simultaneously, South Africa will confront Afghanistan at Thiruvananthapuram's Greenfield International Stadium, while Pakistan will clash with New Zealand at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. On September 30, India will compete against England at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium, while Australia will take on the Netherlands at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.

October 2 brings more cricket action, as England faces Bangladesh in Guwahati, and New Zealand goes up against South Africa in Thiruvananthapuram. On October 3, Afghanistan will battle Sri Lanka in Guwahati, and India will lock horns with the Netherlands in Thiruvananthapuram. The day will conclude with Pakistan taking on Australia in Hyderabad. All these matches are scheduled for 2 PM.

Ashwin joins India squad

Axar Patel, who sustained a left quadriceps strain during India's Asia Cup Super Four encounter with Bangladesh, couldn't recuperate in time for the World Cup. Consequently, he was absent for both the Asia Cup final and India's three-match ODI series against Australia.
