Actually, earlier this match was to be held at Lord's, but now it will be at Southampton Stadium after taking the stock at the facilities of the stadium. The Southampton Stadium has been the World-Class Stadium in the lockdown times and also hosted the West Indies series and Pakistan series when the cricket has just started amid the COVID pandemic. Sourav Ganguly underwent a bypass surgery a month ago due to which he was on medical break, but since he has announced that there is hope that he is fit to travel to the UK and he showed his desire to go there and watch the finals. "It has been decided a long time ago. They have the hotel, which makes it easier for them to control (the bio-secure environment)," Ganguly told India Today news channel.
