 'From bottom of my heart': Rishabh Pant grateful to his fans' support

India star wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant took to social media to thank his fans for supporting him after his horrific car accident on December 30, 2022. Pant hit his car to a divider before flipping multiple times and burning it into flames. Pant got seriously injured in the devastating accident and was immediately taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Almost three weeks after the incident, Pant shared a post on social media thanking his fans for being his pillar during his bad phase.

“I am humbled and grateful for all the support and good wishes. I am glad to let you know that my surgery was a success. The road to recovery has begun and I am ready for the challenges ahead.
Thank you to the @BCCI,” tweeted Pant.

“From the bottom of my heart, I also would like to thank all my fans, teammates, doctors and the physios for your kind words and encouragement. Looking forward to see you all on the field. #grateful #blessed,” he further wrote.

Pant expected to be out for a long

The seasoned wicket-keeper batter, is expected to be in the sidelines for majority of 2023. He suffered three ligament injuries in his knee- the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL), and the medial collateral ligament (MCL).
