Hardik Singh suffered a hamstring injury during India's goalless draw against England on Sunday. Hardik is now reportedly ruled out of the pool stage game against Wales. There are also doubts on his participation in remainder of the tournament. A report says Hardik suffered a hamstring injury in India’s second match in Pool D and has been ruled out from the third and final group stage match against Wales. The report also states that there is a serious question mark over his future availability in the tournament. Midfielder Rajkumar Pal, who was named as one of the two reserves by Hockey India for World Cup 2023, will replace Hardik Singh if he is ruled out of the tournament. Pool D has begun to take shape.
