FIFA World Cup: Argentina Star predicted him scoring a day before final, wife shares chat screenshot

FIFA World Cup: It's not even a week since Argentina lifted their third FIFA World Cup on Sunday. Argentina beat France on penalties in the final of the FIFA World Cup 2022. The match was tied after the first 90 minutes and later in the game also got no winner in the extra time. For Argentina, Lionel Messi and Angel Di Maria scored for Argentina while Kylian Mbappe from France got his FIFA World Cup final hat-trick.

Angel di Maria's goal was the cleanest and technically perfect. Now his wife Jorgelina Cardoso has shared a screenshot of WhatsApp messages from her husband. In the message di Maria has predicted that would defeat France and he would score in the final.

The entire conversation was in spanish.

"I will be world champion, my love. It is written. And I will score a goal. Because it is written like at the Maracana and at Wembley," Di Maria wrote to his wife before the final.

Cardoso then wrote: "This message melts my body, I don't know what the hell to tell you."

Anger di Maria's words came true and Argentina and he himself became FIFA World Cup champions. This was Argentina's first World Cup win since 1986.
