FIFA World Cup 2022: Ex-Miss Croatia Ivana Knoll hogs limelight with revealing clothes; Will Qatar take action ?

FIFA World Cup 2022: Ivana Knoll, a former Miss Croatia and Instagram model, could face fines and imprisonment for her "revealing clothes" at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar. For Croatia's opening match against Morocco at the Al-Bayt Stadium on November 23, she wore a slim-fit dress while sporting the national colour i.e. red and white.

Then, on November 27, when her home team was playing against Canada, she ignited the controversy even more. Ivana Knoll opted to represent Croatia at Khalifa International Stadium by donning a strapless minidress. Ivana Knoll continued in sporting revealing clothing in Qatar, without showing any concern about being detained or facing any sort of punishment.

Ivana breaks Qatar rules and regulations

In Qatar, women are not permitted to dress revealingly. Women must not expose their stomachs, shoulders, knees, or breasts, according to Qatar's official regulations. Knoll's outfit had a very exposed plunging neckline while covering other areas. Furthermore, it shows body, which the Qataris find objectionable.

The penalties in Qatar are extremely severe; the cost of just leaving trash in a stadium may reach $2400. Since Knoll allegedly broke "decency laws," it is assumed that she would be subject to a larger fine. Since she wore skinny clothing to the FIFA World Cup, she might potentially go to jail.
