Brazil had a perfect start of their campaign in the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022 after defeating Serbia 2-0 at the Lusail Stadium. Brazil's Richarlison was the star player for the South American team in the game as he scored twice in the game.

Richarlison opened the Brazil's account just after the hour mark as the clock marked in and went on to add a spectacular second shortly afterwards in the 73rd minute.

The 25-year-old represents Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, he broke the deadlock with a tap-in at the far post in the 62nd minute after Serbian goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic saved the initial shot on target from Vinicius Jr.

Brazil shocked with Neymyr's injury

Neymar, who was taken off in the 80th minute of their Group G opener against Serbia, was seen struggling with a swollen right ankle. This would certainly haunt Brazil coach Tite and their fans a couple of sleepless nights.

However, Brazil coach Tite has said that he is confident that Neymar would be able to make a comeback and continue playing in the World Cup in Qatar.

"We are confident that Neymar will continue playing, he will continue playing in the World Cup," Tite said, adding he was initially unaware of Neymar's injury.
