E Martinez vs Mbappe: The France Football Federation filed a complaint against Emiliano Martinez of Argentina for his comments directed towards Kylian Mbappe, prompting an investigation into the goalkeeper. Martinez has continued to make news after making multiple offensive comments about the prominent French striker during Argentina's World Cup victory celebrations.

What did La Graet say?

Le Graet said, 'I wrote to my counterpart from the Argentine Federation, I find these excesses abnormal, in the context of a sports competition, and I find it difficult to understand. This is going too far. Mbappe's behaviour has been exemplary.'

Martinez made fun of the star forward by requesting a moment of quiet for Mbappe during Argentina's celebrations in the locker room following their victory at the FIFA World Cup 2022.

It is important to note that Mbappe was crucial for France in their match versus Argentina in the FIFA World Cup 2022 championship game. By scoring an exhilarating hat-trick in the championship game, he single-handedly put France on the verge of a successful World Cup title defence. For the first time in 56 years, the 24-year-old became the first player to score a hat trick in a World Cup final.
