'Don't comeback to Indian Cricket team': KL Rahul trolled after posting pictures with girlfriend Athiya Shetty

After being removed as India's vice-captain in limited overs, KL Rahul has been in the highlight. Rahul averaged just 14.25 in four innings in the two Test matches he recently played in Bangladesh. Although, India won the series 2-0 under his captaincy but his dip in form has made him trolls target.

India opener was trolled by fans on social media after he shared pictures with his girlfriend Athiya Shetty.

Fans go hard on Rahul

Many on Twitter asked Rahul not to return back on the cricket pitch.

One Twitter user wrote, “Brother, now you stay with your wife and don't come back to the Indian cricket team because you are no longer needed in #Teamindia . You are the burden in the team.”

Rahul made a comeback to the national team after being sidelined with an injury earlier in 2022. He came back during India's tour of Zimbabwe and played the T20 World Cup as an opener.

Rahul's poor form in highlight

India lost the semifinal clash against England in the summit clash and since then, Rahul's form was in the highlight.

Rahul failed to perform in a majority of the matches, resulting in India's poor start in the powerplay overs.
