Despite his remarkable batting achievements, his career has been marked by comical incidents. A recent video on social media captures a memorable moment when he accidentally toppled onto the stumps while attempting a shot. Inzamam Ul Haq's weird dismissal In the 2006 Test series, Inzamam-ul-Haq led Pakistan's cricket team on a tour of England. After losing the first two matches, the third Test took place in Leeds. Pakistan made a strong start in reply to England's initial innings total of 515, with both Yunus Khan and Mohammad Yusuf achieving centuries for the visiting team. Inzamam-ul-Haq stepped onto the pitch and promptly commenced his innings, hitting five boundaries in rapid succession. However, his momentum was interrupted when Monty Panesar, an English bowler, took charge of the bowling duties and began targeting Inzamam-ul-Haq. In an attempt to execute a sweep shot against one of Panesar's deliveries, the Pakistani captain failed to make solid contact. While attempting the shot, Inzamam-ul-Haq lost his balance and stumbled onto the stumps. As a result, the umpire ruled him out for "hit wicket." Inzamam-ul-Haq made a desperate airborne dive in an attempt to avoid colliding with the stumps, but he couldn't prevent his dismissal.
