Ab De Villiers: Watch what happened when the Proteas star reached the Mumbai streets; Fans hail him for gesture

Ab De Villiers: Legendary South African cricketer AB de Villiers earned the nickname "Mr 360" during his playing days for his tremendous batting range and ability to play shots anywhere on the field. The 38-year-old, who retired from international cricket in 2018, has a huge fan base in India as well because he played for Royal Challengers Bangalore for many years in the IPL.

De Villiers, who is now in India, is seen playing street cricket in Mahalaxmi, Mumbai, which is a dream come true for his supporters who could only envision him playing with international stars. De Villiers is pictured playing a few strokes while batting while wearing a T-shirt, shorts, and sneakers. Twitter user @mufaddalvohra shared a video of the meeting there.

De Villiers also had a meeting with the legend Sachin Tendulkar and shared a few images from his Instagram interview with him.

"So I ended spending a few hours with this man today. Thought I was sort of gonna interview him, but ended up just listening and taking it all in. What an experience. Thanks for your time “Master Blaster”,” he captioned the post.

De Villiers made 22 centuries while scoring 8,765 runs in 114 Tests and 9,577 runs in 228 ODIs with 25 centuries. He also scored 1,672 runs for the Proteas in 78 Twenty20 matches.
