Punjab News: Mission Rojgaar: Punjab Government Distributes Over 45,000 Jobs

Punjab News– In a significant step under the "Mission Rojgaar" initiative, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann handed over 586 appointment letters to young recruits today. This adds to the impressive total of 45,708 government jobs provided by the Punjab government since April 2022, reflecting its commitment to addressing unemployment in the state.

The initiative spans across various administrative departments, including Agriculture, Health & Family Welfare, Higher Education, Home Affairs, and many others. The Punjab government aims to create more job opportunities for the youth, improving the state’s employment rate and boosting its economic growth.

As part of today’s distribution, the Health & Family Welfare Department saw a large number of recruitments, with roles such as Ophthalmic Officers, Multi-Purpose Health Workers (ANM), Medical Laboratory Technologists, and Ward Attendants being filled. The total number of recruits distributed today reached 692.

This comprehensive recruitment drive includes 44 administrative departments, providing jobs across sectors like education, social justice, tourism, and water resources. The government's focus on diverse fields highlights its efforts to strengthen public services and improve the quality of governance.
