Punjab News: Jalandhar Police Arrest Five Key Members of Bambiha-Kaushal Gang, Seize Illegal Weapons

Punjab News: In a significant breakthrough against organized crime, the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police arrested five prominent operatives of the notorious Bambiha-Kaushal Gang. The arrests were made following an operation that led to the recovery of nine illegal weapons and 15 cartridges, reportedly smuggled from Madhya Pradesh.

Targeted Attacks Averted

According to officials, the arrests have successfully thwarted planned attacks on three individuals. The accused were involved in serious criminal activities, including extortion, murder, and arms trafficking, across various districts of Punjab. This operation has helped prevent potential violence in the state.

Ongoing Investigation to Dismantle the Network

The police are now working on a broader investigation to uncover the gang's entire network. Efforts are underway to trace both the backward and forward linkages, with the aim of completely dismantling the Bambiha-Kaushal Gang and its operations in the region. The arrests are seen as a major step toward restoring law and order in Punjab.
