PEOPLE 3-Year-Old boy accidentally crossed border, BSF hands over to Pakistani rangers Anjali Pathak Jul 02, 2022 12:51 GMT On July 1, a 3-year-old-boy accidentally crossed the International border in Punjab, and now has been handed over to Pakistani rangers by the BSF, the officials said. The incident was reported in the Ferozpur sector of the state around 7 pm on Friday after a Border security force troop saw a child standing still and crying near the International border fence. Initially, the child was terrified and was not able to reveal anything, so the troop patiently waited for the child to settle down. Later, the child was handed over to the Pakistani Rangers in the presence of the child's father, officials further said. On 1st July, troops of 182 Bn BSF, Ferozepur Sector handed over a 3-yr-old child, who had crossed the border to the Indian side inadvertently, to Pakistan Rangers as a goodwill gesture.
