Weather Update: According to the latest forecast from the IMD, a low-pressure system developing in the Bay of Bengal is expected to result in heavy rainfall in Gangetic West Bengal during the upcoming weekend. Furthermore, it has also issued a four-day weather outlook for various other states. A rainfall alert has also been issued for Maharashtra while the sky will remain mostly sunny in Delhi.

There is a chance of thundery showers occurring in various regions, including the Andaman Islands, Uttar Pradesh, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh. Additionally, isolated instances of heavy rainfall could impact Odisha, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala.

During the period from Saturday through Monday, Central India can anticipate light to moderately heavy rainfall, along with thunderstorms and lightning. There is also a significant chance of isolated heavy rainfall occurring in Chhattisgarh. In Northeast India, for today and tomorrow, Assam and Meghalaya are expected to experience light to moderate rainfall over a broad area, with widespread thunderstorms and lightning. There is a high likelihood of isolated heavy rainfall in these regions as well.

Delhi

Delhi will continue to remain entirely sunny. IMD has predicted that the sunny days will continue to loom large in the national capital. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 23 degrees with humidity at 37%.

Mumbai

As per the latest weather update, Mumbai and its suburbs will be cloudy mostly. However, there will be thunderstorms during the afternoon. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 91%.

Chennai

Chennai will remain engulfed in the clouds. Just like Mumbai, there will be some isolated thunderstorms during the evening. However, there will be clouds at night too. For today, the maximum temperature will be 35 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 72%.

Kolkata

IMD has predicted Kolkata will experience isolated thunderstorms. The sky will remain generally clouds. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees while the minimum will be 25 degrees with humidity at 86%.
