Weather Update: There has been significant change in weather conditions across the country. Delhi, which was experiencing hot & humid weather will now witness rainfall and thunderstorms for today and a couple of days more. As per the latest IMD bulletin, there is a potential for very heavy rainfall in isolated areas of Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rainfall is expected in isolated regions of the Andaman-Nicobar Islands, Odisha, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan, Konkan-Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathawada, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana.

Widespread rain and isolated thunderstorms are anticipated over the Andaman-Nicobar Islands, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Konkan-Goa, Marathawada, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and Coastal Karnataka.

Fairly widespread rain and isolated thunderstorms are likely in Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, East Rajasthan, East Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana, Kerala-Mahe, and Lakshadweep. Isolated to scattered showers with a possibility of lightning are expected in the remaining parts of the country.

Delhi

The national capital has been forecast to experience relief from the warm conditions. The morning will begin with thundershowers across the region. However, it will ease from the afternoon and the day will then remain mostly cloudy. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 72%.

Mumbai

IMD has predicted that the city and its suburbs will continue to experience showers the entire day. No change is on the cards for the upcoming days as well with showery spells continuing to lash the region. For today, the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 80%.

Chennai

Chennai has been predicted to remain partially cloudy until the afternoon and receive isolated thunderstorms from thereon until the night. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 71%.

Kolkata

As per the latest weather update, Kolkata will experience moderate rainfall today until the afternoon. The sky will then remain mostly cloudy and patches of rainfall will drench the city. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 86%.
