Weather Update: There has been a gradual shift in weather conditions across North India with the start of October. The mornings across Delhi-NCR, UP, Bihar, Haryana, Punjab, and Parts of Rajasthan have turned cooler, inching a start towards winter. However, the warmth is still there in the afternoon. IMD has also issued a rainfall alert for flood-struck Sikkim.

Widespread rain and thunderstorms are expected over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya. In Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, fairly widespread rain and thunderstorms are likely. Meanwhile, isolated to scattered rain and thunderstorms may impact Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic-West Bengal, Odisha, Uttarakhand, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. Additionally, Ladakh is forecasted to experience isolated snowfall, rain, and thunderstorms.

Delhi

The national capital is forecast to remain sunny today as well. However, there will be a reduction in humidity. For today, the maximum temperature will be 36 degrees while the minimum will be 24 degrees with humidity at 42%.

Mumbai

Mumbai and its suburbs are projected to remain mostly engulfed in the clouds. There are slight chances of drizzles taking place in isolated regions. Today's maximum temperature will be 32 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 86%.

Chennai

As per the latest weather update, Chennai is predicted to remain mostly clear, however, there will be patches of partial clouds taking over the city regularly. Chances of rain are meagre. Today's maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 78%.

Kolkata

Kolkata is predicted to begin the day with a cloudy sky. The city will experience isolated thunderstorms during the afternoon. Today's maximum temperature will be 32 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 89%.
