Weather Update: The daily weather bulletin from IMD is out and there are some surprising changes in the weather conditions across the country. Kolkata, which has been grappled with rains since several days will finally gets some respite today. The latest forecast states heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in isolated areas of West Madhya Pradesh and the Gujarat Region, with heavy to very heavy rain in East Rajasthan, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Konkan, Goa, and Madhya Maharashtra. Additionally, anticipate heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Saurashtra, and Kutch.

Isolated areas in Andaman and Nicobar Islands may experience thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds at 30-40 kmph, while thunderstorms and lightning may also occur in isolated places in Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, and Mahe.

Delhi

IMD has predicted Delhi to remain cloudy the entire day. Periodic thundershowers have been forecast to lash the region as well. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees while the minimum will be 25 degrees with humidity at 79%.

Mumbai

Scattered thundershowers and a cloudy sky is on the cards for Mumbai. This weather trend has been forecast to continue for a few days more. For today, the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 87%.

Chennai

Chennai will remain mostly engulfed in clouds the entire day until the afternoon. Thereon, scattered thunderstorms will lash the city until the evening. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 83%.

Kolkata

The weather has finally turned about in Kolkata as relief has been forecast for the weekend for Kolkata. The sky will remain partially cloudy, but there are very minimal chances of rainfall. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 89%.
