Weather Update: The rainy spell will continue across the nation which began yesterday. As per IMD, there is a potential for very heavy rainfall in isolated areas of East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, the Gujarat region, Konkan-Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, and Vidarbha. Heavy rainfall is expected in isolated areas of the Andaman-Nicobar Islands, Uttarakhand, East Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.

Widespread rain and isolated thunderstorms are likely in the Andaman-Nicobar Islands, Madhya Pradesh, Konkan-Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, and Coastal Karnataka. Fairly widespread rain and isolated thunderstorms may affect Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan, the Gujarat region, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, North and South Interior Karnataka, Kerala - Mahe, and Lakshadweep. The rest of the country can expect isolated to scattered showers with a possibility of lightning.

Delhi

As per the latest weather update, Delhi will experience a partially cloudy morning. There will be scattered thunderstorms across the region until evening, and, there on, the sky will remain mostly cloudy. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 90%.

Mumbai

Mumbai will continue to experience showers the entire day. The weather forecast predicts that Mumbai will have intense rainfall and thunderstorms from tomorrow onwards. For today, the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 84%.

Chennai

IMD has forecast that Chennai will remain cloudy until noon and the isolated thunderstorms will then lash the region from then until night. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 87%.

Kolkata

Contrary to weather in other regions, Kolkata will experience moderate rainfall until the afternoon and from there on the weather will largely remain pleasant. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees while the minimum will be 28 degrees with humidity at 89%.
