Details Rafia Tasleem Dec 23, 2022 10:19 GMT Sikkim: On Friday, December 23, 16 soldiers were killed in North Sikkim when an army truck slid off a cliff in Zema. The army truck was a part of a convoy of three vehicles that had departed Chatten in the morning and was headed toward Thangu. The car made a fast curve while travelling to Zema and skidded down a steep hill. Unfortunately, three Junior Commissioned Officers and 13 soldiers succumbed to the injuries sustained in the accident.
