Nevertheless, these rates differ among states due to variables such as value-added tax (VAT), freight expenses, and local levies.

You can also access the daily petrol and diesel rates through SMS. Indian Oil customers can obtain this information by sending an SMS with "RSP" and their city code to 9224992249. BPCL customers can use the same method by sending an SMS to 9223112222, typing "RSP" and their city code. Meanwhile, HPCL consumers can inquire about the prices by sending an SMS with "HPPrice" and their city code to 9222201122.
