Nikki Yadav Murder: Sahil Gehlot not just Nikki’s live-in partner but also her husband, family knew about it

Ghasty murder of Nikki Yadav by her Live-in partner Sahil Gehlot has rocked the nation’s conscience. It was on Valentine’s Day that Delhi Police discovered her dead body. Investigations by Delhi Police has revealed that Nikki was killed by her ‘live-in’ partner Sahil Gehlot , who has been accused of strangling her with a charging cable of a Mobile phone and then disposing her body in a refrigerator.

Delhi Police: Nikki was married to Sahil

Investigations by Delhi Police has now revealed that Nikki was infact married to Sunil Gehlot and they both got married in a Noida temple in October 2020. All the while Sahil’s family was unhappy with his marriage and had fixed his wedding to other girl in December 2022.

In the meantime, Nikki’s father has stated that his family was not aware about Nikki’s marriage to Sahil

“No one in the family knew anything about Nikki and Sahil’s marriage. We don’t believe it. All those who’re involved in the murder must get maximum punishment,"

Delhi Police arrest Sunil Gehlot’s father

Crime Brach of Delhi Police has arrested five persons in connection with Nikki Yadav’s murder , including his father for aiding and abetting his son to murder Nikki Yadav.

Special CP, Delhi Police had this to say,

."Apart from the main accused Sahil Gehlot, Delhi Police have arrested 5 people. His father has also been arrested on the charges of helping him in the conspiracy,"

Further added,

."Sahil's father Virender Singh has been arrested after police found that he knew that his son had allegedly murdered Nikki. He has been booked u/s 120B (criminal conspiracy) of IPC. 4 others including friend, cousin and brother of accused Sahil Gehlot arrested,"

Reports have stated that police has also recovered the marriage certificates of Nikki and Sahil. It was also confirmed that it was Sahil’s friend and cousin who helped him in hiding Nikki’s body in the fridge.

Police investigation has also revealed that Sahil "deleted all the data from Nikki's phone".
