The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is focused on holding onto its majority in the previous election, particularly in Gujarat, Karnataka, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh. Among the first voters were prominent politicians such as Congressman Mallikarjun Kharge, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Sharad Pawar, Akhilesh Yadav, Ajit Pawar, and Pralhad Joshi. Highlighting the 120 Female Candidates There are more than 1,300 candidates running in this phase of the election, with about 120 of them being women. This makes for an exciting contest.
