Good News! Flyover Construction Begins to Link Dwarka Expressway With Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari Expressway, Check Details

Gurugram Pataudi Rewari Expressway: The NHAI has started a crucial infrastructure-related initiative—a flyover, in what would bring huge relief to regional travel. It is going to be developed to interlink Dwarka Expressway seamlessly with Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari Expressway. This new flyover would involve drastically reducing the hassle for drivers to travel from Delhi to Pataudi and Rewari.

Part of a Larger Infrastructure Initiative

Work on the flyover formally started last Friday, and NHAI officials plan to finish it by March next year. The flyover will be about 183 meters long, which would connect the expressway from Royal Green Reality Court Yard in Sector-37D to the Dwarka Expressway. This vital link will reduce congestion to quite an extent and make the flow of traffic smoother in an area that is always milling with commuters.

This flyover is part of the overall 46 km Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari Expressway project that was one of the big-ticket infrastructure projects planned in this region. The entire expressway will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 900 crore, and the original completion target was fixed in 2022. Consequent to a variety of obstacles, the project got delayed. Notwithstanding these setbacks, NHAI is still targeting the completion of the expressway on December 31 this year.

Addressing Challenges and Enhancing Connectivity

Yogesh Tilak, NHAI project officer said, "The flyover was of prime importance. The flyover will give a vital link between the Dwarka Expressway to Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari Expressway. We have also asked Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam to shift a high-tension power line to facilitate the construction."

The commuters will have smoother rides and lesser congestion, all while the construction goes on. Therefore, the flyover would form a crucial development in connectivity improvement, supporting regional growth. It would represent the significant leap that is being taken in India's infrastructure scenario.
