He remarked, "I know today a lot of countries are nervous about the US, but we are not one of them." This comment came as a response to concerns about the outcome of the US Presidential elections and the return of Donald Trump to White House. Jaishankar stressed that India, with its growing economic weight and increasing global presence, is not intimidated by the changes in the global landscape.
