Farmer Union calls for 'Bharat Bandh' on December 8

Hardening the position, and ahead of the another round of talks with the central government the farmers union calls for Bharat Bandh on December 8.

While addressing the press conference, the farmer leader Gurnam Singh Chandoni said that BJP government does not accept their demands tomorrow then the protest will go much big and they will intensify their agitation against the new farm bills.

"In our meeting today, we have decided to give a 'Bharat Bandh' call on December 8 during which we will also occupy all toll plazas," said Harvinder Singh Lakhwal, another farmer leader.

"We have planned to block all roads leading to Delhi in the coming days if new farm laws are not scrapped," he also said.

However, the central stakeholders kept their stand open on the entire row and maintained their position when it comes to the farm laws.
