Delhi NCR: Man throws 2-year-old son off the roof and then jumps after squabble with wife

Delhi NCR: After a fight with his wife, a 30-year-old man threw his two-year-old child from the first floor of a building in Delhi's Kalkaji and then jumped from the third floor.

Both have been hospitalised and are in critical condition

“The man, identified as Man Singh, jumped down from the terrace of his wife’s grandmother’s house late Friday after throwing his child from the first floor of the building. While the child was admitted to Holy Family Hospital, Man Singh was immediately shifted to AIIMS Trauma Centre,” according to the Delhi Police.

Wife's staement regarding the incident

The Police elaborates, “Singh’s wife Pooja alleged that she does not have a good relationship with her husband and was living with her grandmother with her two kids for the past few days. Her husband visited her on Friday at around 6-7 pm and quarreled with her under the influence of liquor. Suddenly, he took his son to the first floor and threw him down. He also jumped down thereafter.”

A case has been filed, and an investigation is underway.
