NATION Delhi: Building collapses, two dead, one undergoing treatment Jyoti B Sep 13, 2021 10:54 GMT A four-storey building collapsed in north Delhi's Sabzi Mandi area near Malka Ganj on Monday afternoon, triggering panic among local residents. Two children, both brothers, were rescued from the debris but were declared brought dead at Bada Hindu Rao hospital. One person was rescued and was undergoing treatment at the hospital. #UPDATE | Teams of local police, MCD, NDRF among others are present to undertake rescue operation. According to police, construction work was underway in the building. There were labourers inside the building when it collapsed. Total seven fire tenders were rushed to the site, he added. Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal informed that he is ''closely monitoring the situation.'' "The incident of building collapse in Sabzi Mandi area is very sad. The administration is engaged in relief and rescue work.
