I agree with them - we have been successful in removing the world’s glare from Kashmir. I want to tell the government of Pakistan that it won’t gain anything by constantly citing Kashmir. Apna ghar sambhaliye (get your house in order).” Currently Pakistan is reeling through an unprecedented economic crisis with high inflation, low forex reserves and mounting debt. Affirmation on PoK The Union Minister also reminded Pakistan that an illegal occupation does not translate to a locus standi in the area and PoK is an integral part of India. “A large part of Jammu and Kashmir is under the occupation of Pakistan. The people there see people on the Indian side living peacefully. So they feel hurt when the Pakistani government oppress them and do injustice to them. Capturing PoK illegally does not give Pakistan a locus standi in the area. We are very clear about the PoK in India. It is, was and will remain a part of India,” Singh said. He further stated that tortured people of PoK will soon will demand to join India as they have been raising slogans about becoming a part of India. Also Read: Political Shake-Up!
