Vastu Tips: Bhai Dooj is right around the corner, as the Hindu festive season nears its end. Bhai Dooj is named after different things in different parts of the country. Moreover, this festival is celebrated to commemorate the bond between brother and sister. The sisters put tika on their brothers as a sign of blessings to make them prosperous and successful in life. This was followed by some rituals and sweets. However, there are a few shastra rules to be followed that are beneficial in making the festival even more auspicious and pure.

Decor

Before the festival, ensure proper decoration in the house by making the space look aesthetic and beautiful. Moreover, cleanliness is a must. Remember to keep the space clutter-free. Therefore, this will make the festivities even more auspicious.

Natural Light

During the festivities, make sure to have a lot of natural light entering the space. It is considered to be extremely positive for any workplace

Direction

When doing the rituals for Bhai Dooj, face north or east direction which are considered auspicious according to vastu shastra. Moreover, the puja items must be placed in the northeast direction

Aroma

Make use of incense sticks or abundant flowers that will bring a beautiful fragrance to the space on the occasion of this festival.

Colours

The best colours for Bhai Dooj are yellow, orange and red. Ensure to make use of these colours for decor, puja items or even flowers
