Vastu Tips: The office space is where one spends a major part of the day. Therefore, having a positive office space is important to be able to perform your best while working. When building an office space, it is crucial to look into the Vastu principles. This will ensure positive energy and good fortune for the business. Here are a few do's and don'ts to keep in mind

Directions

  • The reception should be on the northeast
  • The entrance should be on the northeast
  • The accounts department should be on the southeast
  • The conference room should be on the southwest
  • The marketing department should be on the northwest
  • The office temple should be on the northeast
  • The kitchen should be in the southeast
  • Watertank should be in the southwest
  • Toilets should be on the southwest or northeast
  • The employees must sit facing northeast
  • The important documents must be kept in the southwest
  • Keep a water fountain in the north
  • The printer, Wi-Fi and scanners should be in the southwest

Do's and Don'ts

  • Keep the workstations and the office area in general clutter-free and tidy
  • Do not sleep at your workstation
  • Do not eat at your workstation
  • Do not keep the figure of god in your worktable as the god needs to be put in auspicious locations only. This can bring negativity to your career
  • Keep a picture of a mountain in the backdrop
  • Place plants in the workspace
  • The workspace should get enough natural sunlight
  • The staircase in the office should have an odd number of steps.
