However, only a person who feels strong emotions of lust, anger and hatred can feel strong emotions of love and happiness. However, Sadhguru says that one can make use of these intense negative emotions for something bigger.

Sadhguru on negative emotions

Sadhguru begins by talking about the difference between the East and West philosophy with these emotions. People in the West believe in releasing intense feelings of lust, anger and hatred. However, Eastern philosophy believes in channelling these intense emotions and releasing them towards a higher frequency. This is a form of yoga, where when one feels such emotions bubbling up, one must keep it within and impart it towards something bigger.

Transforming this energy

Sadhguru talks about the importance of feeling these emotions. He says that a man who is incapable of anger is also incapable of love. Therefore, one must not kill these emotions at any cost. Instead of releasing this energy, one can learn to transform this energy towards something bigger. For this, one has to find the right pathway to turn this into divine energy. Moreover, the emotion should be so powerful that it becomes unbearable. This is the same reason why when things get difficult, people are often searching for releases. However, Sadhguru advises channelling this energy to burst into a different dimension. Therefore, one must raise their energy to reach there gradually
