All you need to know about the series

Yeh Meri Family's new season attempts to evoke 90s nostalgia but falls short compared to the original series. It takes place in the winter of 1994 in Lucknow and follows Ritika, a Class 11 student, as she navigates her relationships and self-discovery. While the performances, particularly Hetal Gada's portrayal of Ritika, are praiseworthy, the writing and storytelling lack depth. The nostalgia feels contrived at times, and the supporting characters are underdeveloped. Nevertheless, the series can be enjoyed as a light and easygoing watch, perfect for a leisurely mealtime break.
